Email and SMTP

Get notifications about new site leads delivered to your email. The connection uses the SMTP server of your mail provider.

System emails

Platform emails (admin password recovery, service notifications) are sent by our SMTP. No setup needed.

SMTP for lead notifications

The connection form has five fields:

Host, your provider’s SMTP server.
Port, usually 465 (SSL).
Username, the mailbox login.
Password, an app password (not your main mailbox password).
To Address, the address where lead notifications will be delivered.

Create an app password

Go to id.yandex.ru, “Security”, “App passwords”, “Create new password”, pick “Mail”. Yandex issues a 16-character app password, that is the value for the Password field. Your regular mailbox password will not work.

Enable IMAP in mail

In mail.yandex.ru, “All settings”, “Mail clients”, enable “From imap.yandex.ru server via IMAP”.

Enter parameters

Host: smtp.yandex.ru
Port: 465
Username: your_login@yandex.ru (or @yandex.by, @yandex.kz)
Password: 16-character app password from step 1

Enable two-step verification

Go to myaccount.google.com, “Security”, turn on two-step verification (required).

Create an app password

Same page, “App passwords”, create a password for “Mail”, get a 16-character code.

Enter parameters

Host: smtp.gmail.com
Port: 465
Username: you@gmail.com
Password: app password from step 2

Create an external app password

In e.mail.ru, “Settings”, “Passwords for external apps”, “Add”.

Enter parameters

Host: smtp.mail.ru
Port: 465
Username: your @mail.ru address
Password: external app password from step 1

Paste the app password, not your main mailbox password, otherwise the provider will block sending.
