Understanding who visits your site, where they come from, and what they look at is key to growth. Out of the box, the admin panel counts unique visitors. For advanced analytics, connect Yandex Metrika or Google Analytics.

Built-in counter

  • Unique visitors today and all-time.
  • Period dynamics: 7 days, 30 days, year.
  • Lead count and conversion.

Yandex Metrika

The most complete solution for the Russian market. Sees even more than Google Analytics: works in Russia without VPN, certified for government site analytics.

Heatmaps

See where people click and where they don’t scroll to.

Webvisor

Recording of user actions, watch how real people navigate your pages.

Goals and conversions

Track leads, payments, registrations.

Search queries

Learn what words people use to find your site.

Connect Yandex Metrika

1

Create a counter

Open metrika.yandex.com, sign in via Yandex ID, click “Add counter”, enter your site URL.
2

Copy Counter ID

After creation, you see the counter number, an 8-digit number (e.g., 12345678).
3

WowWeb → Integrations → Yandex Metrika

Enter Counter ID in the field. Click “Connect”.
4

Publish the site

In 5-10 minutes, stats start collecting. You’ll see first visits in Metrika.

Google Analytics 4

Right for global projects and B2B audience. Integrates with other Google services (Ads, Search Console). The connection form has one field:
  • Measurement ID in the form G-XXXXXXXXXX. Google Analytics, “Admin”, “Data streams”, web stream.
In Russia, Google Analytics works unreliably unless visitors use a VPN, so a share of traffic will not reach the reports. For Russian projects, use Yandex Metrika as the primary analytics and treat GA as a secondary source.

5

Create a data stream

6

In the stream card, copy the “Stream ID” in the form G-XXXXXXXXXX, that is your Measurement ID. Paste it into the WowWeb connection field.
